- Crown Cleaning:
The selected removal of dead, dying, diseased, crossing branches and suckers.
- Crown Thinning:
The selective removal of branches to increase light penetration, air movement, and reduce weight.
- Crown Raising:
The removal of lower branches to provide clearance.
- Crown Reduction:
Reduction of the height and/or the spread of a tree. Note: a limited number of tree species can withstand this type of pruning. (an alternative to "topping")
- Vista Pruning:
